Recruitment operations · governed AI decision

Find the recruitment workflow AI should assist—without automating the decision that must stay human.

TPPC turns rough notes about candidate compliance, onboarding, timesheets, or payroll exceptions into a decision-grade workflow review: the bottleneck, safest AI-assist step, human boundary, evidence gaps, and rollback path.

Start where risk and rework meet

Three workflows where assistance can be valuable and the boundary matters.

TPPC does not recommend replacing recruiters, compliance owners, or payroll approvers. It isolates the coordination and evidence work that can be tested without handing a consequential decision to AI.

Candidate compliance packs

Operational drag

Reviewers reopen files, chase missing evidence, and reconcile conflicting status fields.

Candidate AI assist

Assemble an evidence pack, detect missing items, and flag contradictions for review.

Human boundary

A qualified person retains the final right-to-work, clearance, and placement decision.

Onboarding handoffs

Operational drag

Candidate, recruiter, compliance, payroll, and client updates drift across systems and inboxes.

Candidate AI assist

Summarize the current state, draft the next action, and route exceptions to the right owner.

Human boundary

People approve contractual changes, sensitive exceptions, and the final start decision.

Timesheet and payroll exceptions

Operational drag

Teams investigate missing approvals, mismatched hours, duplicate records, and late corrections.

Candidate AI assist

Collect the evidence trail, classify the exception, and prepare a resolution recommendation.

Human boundary

An authorized operator approves pay-affecting corrections and escalated disputes.

The decision path

A workflow should earn the right to become a pilot.

The review challenges the opportunity before it recommends implementation. A fast “no” can be more valuable than an expensive experiment built on weak evidence.

01 · Opportunity

Is there one repeatable step worth assisting?

TPPC separates the expensive coordination step from the legal or commercial decision around it.

02 · Evidence

Can the recommendation be checked?

The review names the records, baseline, exceptions, and success measure needed before a pilot is funded.

03 · Control

Who can stop or correct the workflow?

Human approval, fallback behavior, and rollback are explicit deliverables—not assumptions hidden in a demo.

04 · Decision

Go, hold, or do not automate?

The result can recommend a pilot, require more evidence, or reject automation when the risk is not justified.

Responsible deployment context

Meaningful human involvement must be designed into the workflow.

UK guidance does not make “human in the loop” a decorative label. The operating design must show where people review evidence, exercise judgment, correct the system, and remain accountable for consequential decisions.

What to automate—and what must stay human—in a recruitment compliance workflow

Buyer questions

What TPPC will—and will not—decide.

Does TPPC decide whether a candidate is eligible or suitable?

No. TPPC reviews the operating workflow and recommends where AI may assist. Employment, eligibility, clearance, pay, and placement decisions should remain with the organization and its qualified decision owners.

Do we need to upload candidate or client data?

No. Use anonymous labels such as Candidate A, Client B, Queue C, or System D. TPPC needs the workflow shape, failure modes, evidence types, and decision boundaries—not confidential records.

Is every reviewed workflow recommended for AI?

No. A defensible result may be “hold,” “collect evidence first,” or “do not automate this decision.” Avoiding the wrong pilot is part of the value.

What does the paid $295 review add?

It produces the full decision brief and executive PDF: current-state map, ranked AI opportunity, human boundary, risk register, evidence plan, rollback path, and 30-day recommendation. No subscription or meeting is required.
